Perfect Peel

Perfect Peel

The perfect peel has been around in the UK for 5 months. It contains phenol, glutathione, kojic acid, TCA, salicylic acid, and retinoic acid. It is a medium to deep peel. It is the only peel that contains glutathione which is a powerful antioxidant that slows down the ageing process and prevents wrinkles. The phenol within the peel has a numbing effect so after the first application there will be no pain or discomfort. The salicylic acid exfoliates the skin. The TCA, Phenol and Retinoic acid reduce wrinkles and correct pigment problems. Kojic acid lightens the skin and improves the production of collagen and elastin.

It can be used on all skin types and the results are seen after just one peel. Depending on skin types and the problems we are treating, sometimes further treatments will be needed. Sometimes 2-3 treatments may be required every 4 weeks. However if the skin is maintained with good skin care regime and the client introduces the perfect C cream into their daily routine, it is advised that the client will only need 2-3 treatments a year to maintain the desired results.

The perfect peel like most peels, is aimed to improve the skin tone and texture, lighten and brighten the skin, remove or reduce sun damage and age spots, reduce pore size, reduce fine lines and wrinles, improve pigmentation problems and acne scars, improve acne and melasma, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to give firmer skin and ultimately slows down the ageing process.

Within the perfect peel, there is a booster. This can be added to the peel to give greater results as it is about 25% stronger than the perfect peel. It is good to use this for stubborn skin problems.

The perfect peel also allow the patient to purchase further skin care products. There is the perfect C cream that needs to be applied morning and night for collagen stimulation and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. The perfect C serum contains tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, the vitamin C serum will help establish even skin tone and reduce dark spots and it has an antioxidant activity The perfect A cream is used to renew healthy skin, improve tone and texture. It contains retinoic acid and vitamin C. The perfect B cream contains hydroquinone , liqorice extract, kojic acid and arutin which help improve pigmentation and lightens the skin which is good for melasma and hyperpigmentation..

Vampire face lift

Fantastic study day with Dr Daniel Sister.  Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a high concentration of blood platelets in a small volume of plasma. It is a safe treatment and free of transmissible diseases as it uses the clients own blood.

Blood is taken from the patient and placed into a machine that seperates the plasma from the blood.  The practitioner then can use the plasma to inject back into the client.  Within the plasma contains thousands  of growth factors. The growth factors work to regulate the life of the cell.  When these growth factors are activated it can lead to formation of new healthy tissue.  The PRP treatment leads to an increase in collagen and elastin production.  It provides thickening of the dermis giving the skin more volume and gives a smoother complexion.  PRP treatment  can also be used for hair loss, reduction of scar tissue and acne scars.

There are other therapeutic indications for the "PRP. Such as eye laser surgery, orthopaedic surgery total knee arthroplasty and many more.

The whole treatment from walking into the clinic to leaving only takes 1 hour.  Its a fantastic treatment with very few side effects and no risk to the client

Nefertiti Lift

Nefertiti Lift

The Nefertiti was an Egyptian Queen who was known for her smooth and scuptured jaw and neck line.  The Nefertiti lift is a technique using botulism toxin that is injected into three ares of the lower face to counteract the effect of aging.  Many women wish for the "swan-like" neck and this technique redefines the jaw line, giving an uplifting effect to the neck and jaw area and reduces the sagginess in this area.

There are three muscles; these are the depressor angulis oris (DAO), platysmal bands and the mentalis muscle.  The DAO originates from the jaw and inserts into the angle of the mouth.  The platysmal muscle are a fan of muscles that extend over the front of the neck  and insert into the jaw line and the mentalis muscle laws over the chin.  With age the DAO muscle places traction over the corners of the mouth, and causes the downturning of the mouth.  The platysmal muscle seperates into bands which causes the "turkey neck".  The platysmal bands will also pull the skin downards which makes the jowls look more pronounced.  The mentalis muscle retracts upwards and the overlying skin starts to have an "orange peel" effect.

We can have numerous aesthetic treatments for the face but if we do not address the aging neck, this can be a tell tale sign.  By injecting very small doses of botulism toxin into these muscles it will relax the platysmal bands, improve the downturning of the mouth and provide anteror projection of the chin so all of these muscles can work unopposed to give a smoother and elongated neck line.

Botox Miracles: Botox can beat Bladder problems

Here at Face Perfect Clinic we are fascinated about the science behind Botox and its uses.  Primarily, we use Botox to soften and fade facial wrinkles.  Botox works on facial muscles by relaxing them and stopping too much muscle from tensing, therefore preventing wrinkles and lines from deepening.  The chemical, officially called Botulinum Toxin, is injected into the point where the nerve and muscles meet, stopping a natural chemical from making the muscles tense up and therefore keeping your face smooth and youthful.   The most common use of Botox is for cosmetic surgery to give you a flawless face, but Botox also has some lesser-known and quite surprising uses.

botox-leeds-clinicBotox comes in very useful for treating disorders or conditions where the muscles may be unnecessarily tight or are working too much. In 1989 Botox was first used to treat Blepharospasm, where the eyelids twitch uncontrollably, which can be an embarrassing condition. It also makes life easier for people who have embarrassing conditions such as Hyperhydrosis, which is where the sweat glands work too much. A simple injection of Botox into the glands can massively decrease the production of sweat, meaning people can live happier, more comfortable lives.  Other conditions where Botox can be used as a treatment include spasms and dystonia, severe migraines and cerebral palsy.  Botox is miraculous because of the way it remedies embarrassing or restricting conditions.

The most recent development for Botox’s growing portfolio of medical uses comes in the form of a botox-lines-leeds-clinicmiraculous treatment for incontinence and over-active bladders. It is believed that 5 million women across the UK suffer from over-active bladders, but many never seek help because they are too embarrassed to speak up. If the condition is chronic it can affect people physically, psychologically and socially, as they may end up going to the toilet as often as 20 times a day and 5 times at night. A simple injection of Botox, administered directly to the bladder by a specially adapted device, can firm the bladder walls and prevent people from needing to pass urine as much. This treatment can potentially transform sufferers’ lives for good.

So Botox isn’t just to make you look young and radiant, but it can also achieve a lot of good for people who are living with uncomfortable and distressing conditions. In most cases it benefits the user by giving them a new lease of life.  Both reducing signs of ageing and reliving symptoms of embarrassing conditions give the patient confidence, bringing back their zest for life. Check out our clinic for Botox in Yorkshire if you want to discover the rejuvenating benefits of this miraculous medicine.
