The Nefertiti Lift using Botox

Nefertiti was an Egyptian Queen who was know for her smooth and sculptured jaw and neck line.  The Nefertiti lift is a technique using Botulism toxin type A that is injected into three areas of the lower face which conteracts the effect of aging.

How does it work?

Very small doses of botulism toxin are injected into the playsmal bands, which are a fan of muscles extending from the chest up to the neck and jaw line and as we age these muscles will separate creating a “turkey neck”.

It is also injected into the muscles of the chin to define the anterior and posterior borders of the chin. Lastly the marionette lines are injected to prevent the improve the “down turning of the mouth”.

This technique redefines the jawline, giving an uplifting effect to the neck and jaw area and reducing the sagginess of this area.
