What is Botulinum toxin type A (botox)?
Botulinum toxin type A, commonly referred to as ‘botox’, is a neuromodulator derived from Clostridium botulinum bacteria. Botox has a long history of clinical studies and research supporting its safety and efficacy, with the first FDA approval for medical use dating back to 1989.
